Clair Stewart, a Maryknoll lay missioner for the Catholic Church in Sao Paulo, Brazil, who grew up going to St. Stephen, will be here Sunday, May 7, and will give a short presentation after all the Masses. She will focus on who Maryknoll Lay Missioners are and what they do. She will also talk about her missionary experience in an over-crowded Brazilian prison along with teaching art to the children of refugees living in a homeless shelter. All are invited to attend.
Take your Mom to breakfast. Boy Scout Troop 1204 is hosting the 8th Annual Take Your Mom to the All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 13, from 7am to 11am. Happy Retirement Party for Barb Couturier: Come and wish Barb a “Happy Retirement” with a potluck dinner on Saturday, Apr. 29 in the hall of the Holy Family Center at 6:30pm. St. Stephen’s annual Ministry Fair will take place after each Mass on April 29 and 30. Check out our various parish ministries. You might be interested in participating in some of the groups that make us a vibrant parish that reaches out to others. The fair is held after each Mass. In addition to the ministries, the KCLA will have a bake and craft sale.
The Knights of Columbus Fifth Sunday Rosary is Sunday, Apr. 30 following the 5pm Mass. We will be praying the basic rosary from the rosary guide. Rosaries and rosary guides will be available prior to the service. Please plan to attend and pray the rosary as a family. The American Red Cross and the Knights of Columbus will hold their quarterly Blood Drive in the hall of the Holy Family Center on Sunday, May 7 from 7:45am to 1pm. The Knights’ kitchen crew will be providing a light breakfast at no charge for all prospective donors and their family members.
