The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary meets at the same time each month as the Knights of Columbus men’s group in the lounge of the Holy Family Center. The focus of this group is to support the Knights and also participate in activities of the parish. Lorine Bourland, 615-495-8569.
The Courage Lion Program is dedicated to children that are entering the hospital for a serious illness, injury or surgery. Each Courage Lion comes with the book “Courage Pockets”, which introduces the story of a young lion, Duffy, who faces the challenge of recovering from an injury. Duffy is a therapeutic animal used to enhance communication and is intended to reduce anxiety and fear. The KC Ladies Auxiliary sponsors the Courage Lion Program at Saint Stephen Catholic Community and would like to help each hospitalized child through what could be a frightening experience by giving him/her a courage lion (Duffy) of their own.
