In observance of October as Respect Life Month, the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and Knights of Columbus will sponsor a baby bottle campaign to benefit pro-life agencies in Middle Tennessee. $$$$ raised with this campaign will help support the Tennessee Right to Life and the Wilson County Right to Life Organizations. The money given to Wilson County Pro-Life will go toward the payment of the monthly rental of the pro-life billboard on Interstate 40 between Mt. Juliet and Lebanon. Fill the bottle with your spare change, cash and/or checks. Make checks payable to the KCLA. Return the bottle(s) by placing them in the baby cradle in the old church any weekend in October. We do need the bottle(s) returned regardless of the amount in the bottles. Thank you for your generous support of life.

St. Stephen has a new ministry. We make fleece blankets for those who are seriously ill, injured, confined to either home, hospital or nursing home. They are made prayerfully, blessed and given to express caring and concern from St. Stephen Catholic Community for our parishioners, their immediate family members or their close friends. The following prayer is sewn on each blanket: “May the Risen Christ bless you with HOPE, COURAGE, and PEACE. St. Stephen Catholic Community holds you in prayer and covers you with love.” If you know of someone who would benefit from receiving a Prayer Blanket, call or email Lorine Bourland 615-754-6899 email@example.com; Elaine Bustillos 615-758-8303 firstname.lastname@example.org; Joyce Davis 615-754-6899 Joyce_davis07@comcast.net; Bettyann Tompson 615-883-3422 email@example.com; or Janet Youmans 615-525-3920 firstname.lastname@example.org.
