Children's Liturgy of the Word

Children Liturgy Ministers present the Gospel readings to children, ages 4 yrs.-1st grade, who have not recieved their first communion, at the 8:30 am and 11 am Masses. The adult volunteer reads the Word from a child-friendly version of the Bible that is provided. We then lead an age-appropriate discussion, which can include a small activity, or coloring page.  Your commitment would be to volunteer at least one Mass per month, a volunteer background check, and Safe Environment training. The children love hearing the Gospel reading and receive so much on a child’s level.
