Haiti Ministry

Notre Dame Petit Church in Haiti

St. Stephen Catholic Community has had a Haiti Ministry for over 50 years, working under the auspices of the Twinning Program of the Americas.  St Stephen has a monthly collection which helps support our twin parish, Notre Dame, in Petit Goave, Haiti. All moneys collected aids in keeping the school, built by St. Stephen, to remain open. It also supports a homeless shelter and meets immediate needs of food and medication for the neediest, in the Petit Groave Parish. 

We continue to watch closely the political climate of Haiti, and hope in the near future, St. Stephen can once again take our medical, dental and vision team to Petit Goave.
