Middle School Formation

Once a year during spring break or fall break, together, Edge and Life Teen participate in a day long Urban Plunge experiencing the 7 Corporal Works of Mercy. Students take the bus from Hermitage to Downtown Nashville to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, shelter the homeless, clothe the naked, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned and bury the dead.our Urban Plunge takes us to a prison for youth, a clothing closet, and experiences with homelessness through Nashville's Room in the Inn. We visit Calvary Cemetery to learn about this historic Catholic site in Nashville and to pray for the dead. We end our day at McKendree Health Care Center to visit the men and women who live in the memory care unit.
