Anointing of the SickWhether it's illness or the natural aging of our bodies, the Lord instituted a sacrament to help us through the process. The minister of this sacrament is the priest; he anoints us with oil – a sign of strength, healing and courage. Confession will ensure our souls are in the state of grace, and the Eucharist is our food for the journey.

Sacrament of Baptism

The Sacrament of Baptism is the foundation of the Christian community where we are cleansed from original sin. Preparation for parents is held at 7:00 pm in the Worship Center on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Contact Mary Karn Email

Sacrament of Eucharist

The Eucharist is both a sacrifice and a sacrament. The Mass is that divine action in which Jesus changes the bread and wine into His own Body and Blood.
Children in 2nd grade prepare to receive the sacraments of Eucharist (First Communion) and Reconciliation. Children should be registered in Faith Formation preferably for 2 years (1st grade and 2nd grade). Email

Sacrament of Reconciliation
-
Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, established the Sacrament of Confession, so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God and the Church. The sacrament “washes us clean,” and renews us in Christ.
Confession takes place on Wednesday promptly following 6pm mass and Saturday at 3:45 – 4:45 pm before the 5pm Vigil Mass. Reconciliation is also available by appointment. Call the parish office at 615-758-2424

Sacrament of Confirmation

Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, we renew our baptismal promise and commit ourselves to living a life in the Christian faith.
Confirmation takes place in the Spring each year to the Bishop’s Schedule. Parish Religious Education Students are prepared to receive confirmation in 8th grade. The formation process begins in the 7th grade and continues thru 8th grade. Classes are held from 6:15 – 7:30 pm on Sunday from September through May.

Sacrament of Marriage

Contact the office, soon after engagement, to begin your marriage preparation.
The sacrament of marriage is a visible sign of God’s love and is a gift of oneself to another. You can find information on using the church for your ceremony as well as space for your reception by contacting the office.
