Coffee and Donuts

Coffee and donuts are offered to all after the Saturday evening and Sunday morning Masses in the narthex. Leslie Bohr, 399-9437.

Mt. Juliet Help Center

Canned foods and dried goods are collected on a weekly basis for this local food bank. Donations are placed in the bin in the outer narthex. John Castner, 885-9731.

Food Preparation

Meals are needed at special times for parishoners in need. For funerals, Roberta Young, 754.6113. For meals to the sick, Francie Duffield, 758.2424.

Habitat for Humanity

Because our parish is divided between Davidson and Wilson counties, we build houses in both counties. Mark Hicks, 889-6469.

Haiti Medical Mission

Annual medical mission trips to our sister parish in Petit Goave, Haiti. Karen Mertens, 885.3194.

Loaves and Fishes

Volunteers from St. Stephen serve a hot meal to approximately 150-200 people every 4th Saturday of the month at the Holy Name Catholic Church. Walter Pope, 714-4622.

Nashville Cares

Distribution of food to HIV/Aids patients and families in the area. Francie Duffield, 758.2424 extension 21.

Room in the Inn

Dinner, shelter, breakfast and bag lunches for homeless men, women, and children is provided in our Hall on the Tuesdays of winter, November through March. Responsibilities are shared with Grace United Methodist Church. Dee Ryerson, 758-0052.

Safe Haven Family Shelter

Volunteers from St. Stephen prepare meals three nights per month and stay with guests as innkeepers one night per month. Barb Couturier, 758.2424 extension 11.

Worship Details

This ministry includes many of the unseen aspects of worship: church cleaning, baking communion bread, care of linens and altar cloths. Gail Cantrell, 444-8380

Why Catholic? Groups

An ongoing faith formation study using a guidebook and The Catechism of the Catholic Church. People meet in homes and groups are available almost every night of the week. Sessions are held in the Lenten season and in the fall. This is a wonderful way to meet new people and get involved with parish life. For more information, contact Barb Couturier, 758-0737.

Newcomers Dinners

Three times a year covered dish socials offer the chance to gather as a community and welcome new parishoners. Aside from great food, its a wonderful opportunity to meet the Parish Council, staff, and other parishoners. For more information, contact Gail Palmer, 758-6956

The Spirit Newsletter

Published bi-monthly, The Spirit is mailed to all registered parishoners. Issues include a community calendar, committee news, parish activity information and inspiration.
